CALM
Every once in a while, it’s a good idea to, as they say, stop and smell the roses. In this fast-paced world in which we live, we often find ourselves focused on the wrong things and putting precious time and energy in the wrong directions. When you step back and really take a look at life, you begin to see how much time and energy is wasted on things of very little importance. I think this is most true, if you have experienced a near death incident, such as severe car accident, a diagnosis of cancer or any life-threatening experience. I think it truly puts things in perspective. We spend so much time on the to do lists that we forget to take time to nourish our souls, mind and body. We need to take time for ourselves to reflect, on gratefulness for the body we have, the mind we have and those we love.
We owe it to ourselves to take a soul vacation, to focus on creating a body full of energy, a mind willing to grow and a spirit filled with love and inner peace. We need to eat well, move well, think well and connect. For those who make this circle of life their first priority, it’s a simple way of life, for those who make any of these healthy necessities, a low priority, the intensity of this struggle can be physically and emotionally exhausting. Love yourself enough to make these changes so you can live a less stressed and a more fulfilling life. It is all about the desire to make the necessary changes. It’s not impossible because that really can be Im possible. Just think how that word changed with a very small space. So make some small changes in your space to feel calm and inner peace, try yoga, meditation, listening to music. Just remember to smell the roses slowly and enjoy the ride, make it an incredible adventure.
